Three bathrooms get a modern makeover in this 1970's family home.
In Phase 1 of this home renovation project, our clients wanted to start updating their 1970's style family home. First up: bathrooms.
The Powder Room needed a face-lift, while the Main and Master bathrooms were disproportionately sized. Functional reconfiguration as well as aesthetic upgrades were required here in order to create balance and, ultimately, assist with future resale value of the home.
By stealing space from the over-sized Main Bath, we were able to create a more spacious Master Bath with room for 2.
MJID chose to treat the 3 rooms as a suite, utilizing continuity in finishes and fixtures, while ensuring each room has its own unique features. The Powder Room showcases subtle yet stunning patterned wall covering. The Main Bath is kept simple yet functional with ample storage, while glass sliding shower doors allow natural light in. The Master Bath is the true gem in this suite, with a spacious walk-in shower, back lit mirror, and soft travertine-look tiles wrapping the heated floor and walls.
